INTRODUCTION...
♻️MO GLASS UPCYCLE, LLC is a local operation located in Rocky Mount, MO. collecting glass, aluminum and corrugated cardboard. Two primary goals: material collection which promotes landfill diversion and increase knowledge in our communities of upcycling through awareness and education.
FACTS...
♻️Camden, Miller, Laclede and Morgan counties produced over 15,000 tons of glass which was transported out for disposal.
♻️In 2024, each American on average used 700 pounds of paper which is 100 million tons of wood that could be saved if that paper was recycled. In 2023, Americans threw away about 61 billion soda cans along with 11 million tons of glass jars and bottles. Through our operations, we will be able to collect a large percentage of glass, aluminum and cardboard found in our local waste. Thus, allowing for an estimated reuse and recovery of 180 tons of cardboard, 16,875 tons of glass and 8 tons of aluminum per year.
SERVICE AREA...
♻️MGU provides recycling opportunities to Camden, Miller, Laclede and Morgan counties. We currently service commercial establishments and run a residential route in Lake Ozark. Our facility is located in Rocky Mount MO., which serves as a recycling hub for glass, aluminum and corrugated cardboard.
Residential service
♻️ Service Agreement, Pricing & Pickup
*Once you read and sign our MGU Service Agreement, we will schedule a time to deliver your recycle container where you can dispose of your glass and aluminum. Break down your cardboard and place next to your recycle container on pickup days.
*MGU's recycling service is $20.00 every time we collect your container.
*If you do NOT need a pickup that month then there is NO charge
*Pick up days are on the FIRST Wednesday of every month, weather permitting
*Place your container and broken down cardboard at the curb Wednesday morning by 9a.m.
*Additional pickups must be requested and scheduled by email: info@moglassupcycle.com
